Dividends Update
This that time of the month to give an update on dividend income. Since I didn’t earn anything in January, I didn’t give an update.

I added BMO, BP, then sold my BP position but I think I’d still get the dividend pay out for BP in March. It looks like March will be a bigger dividend payout. I’ll know I can meet my $3K goal after 4 months.
Stocks on my watch are oil and bank – BAC, JPM, WFC, BP, XOM, COP, RIG, some metal companies FCX, etc as these sectors are getting the beating. Buy low sell high strategy. As tech are getting overweight. Will see how things go. But still looking to add $48K this year into the taxable account.
How are your first two months go? Do you have strategies to smooth out dividend or it doesn’t matter as you meet your goal?
