For those of you who’ve been following my blog, I apologize for the late update. I’ve been extremely busy with planning on my wedding. Well, we are married.

I’ll spare you the details, but wedding planning has gotten to be the most hectic things ever. I had to host 7 people in my 3-bedrooms, 2 baths house. I love to have company, but it was also draining me out. By the time we done with the wedding, I was so drained that I didn’t want to do anything else. Luckily, we didn’t plan anything specific, we were just packing real quick, hop on our car and travel up north to see the foliage.

We travel through these states- New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Delaware, Maine, Pennsylvania, Virginia  , Massachusetts

Our stops included Hersey factory, Boston, cape cod, providencetown, Portland, Arcadia national park, etc.

it’s been a blast! We ate our way up the coast, hittingall the high rated seafood restaurants. Eating blue crabs in Virginia, lobster in Massachusetts and marines, philly steak in Philadelphia. The best lobster bisque is in cape cod.

Dividend in September is close to $900 despite not increase in share due to Bank of America dividend increase by 50%. I’m still project to hit the $4000 mark despite all the selling and holding on to $50k in cash.

Although we are married, but mr. And I have not sorted out our finance. As I’d rather invest his $300k cash position. But he’s rather conservative and doesn’t like to put his money in bond or better saving account or paying off my mortgage debt. Hihi. Mr. Is actually in the camp of waiting for the market to fall 50%. Before, I said “goodluck waiting” but having him as my husband, our finance get combine, I might have to convince him to do something with the cash. Index fund would be a great start. Any suggestions?

  1. Congrats on the wedding and the dividend income. It’s always a good month for you when BAC pays. I’m looking forward to reading a future post about your wedding.

    • I’ll have the wedding details once everything is settle that’s fore sure. Thanks for the wishes. 🙂

  2. Congrats on the wedding. I forgot to crash it lol.
Don’t know how you would convince your husband of investing but maybe after he sees you doing well he will join in.
Over 800 is awesome that BAC is awesome amount.

    • Hihi, it’s funny how I thought of you as I was up there scanning the attendees. 🙂

Mr. Is a hard case to crack. He and his mum went through some tough time, so every pennies that they earn they don’t like to “lose”. I understand that feeling also, as my family went through the samething and it reflect the fact that none of my sibling invest in stocks. And their opinion of my investing as gambling regardless of my stable monthly income from dividends.

  3. Looks like you had an amazing trip through all those states eating some fabulous foods. Congrats on your wedding and awesome dividend total for the month. Looks like these are happy times for you so enjoy.

  4. Congrats on the great month!! That is definitely a lot of dividend income from Bank of America! I loved Portland Maine when we visited a couple of years ago. Very, very cool city with a lot of great food, breweries, and shops. Plus, you can’t beat the views in the city.

    Thanks for the update!

    Bert

And good to have you back 🙂

  6. Way to go on the wedding! I remember some ‘wedding craziness’ myself. 🙂 $300k seems to be a very high cash position. Wish I had that “problem.” 🙂 Take care!
